El Phoenician, Parramatta

After the Rosehill Races  last Saturday, we went to El Phonecian in Parramatta for dinner. It was a spontaneous decision and a good one at that. The six of us ordered the Banquet to share. The Labne, Homous and grilled meats were particularly good. As it turned out, we paid our bill and were ready to leave just before the belly dancers came out. The owner kindly offered our group a round of drinks if we stayed for the belly dancing. It would have been rude not to. They were fun to watch, but I was really glad they didn’t pick on me to go up and dance with them! All in all, it was a lovely end to a great day.
