Watershed Kitchen Drummoyne

I dined at Watershed Kitchen for the first time yesterday. It was just brunch, but I have a feeling I will be back very soon. In addition to the lovely water views and great service, the food is good. Okay, my toast was a bit dry, but nothing the hollandaise sauce couldn’t fix. And did I mention those water views!

It is right on the Bay Run, so ideal for a weekend leisurely brunch or lunch if you fancy a walk, run or bike ride afterwards to burn off the calories. It is also above Drummoyne Openair Swimming Pool if you prefer aquatic exercise.

Personally, I am looking forward to going back on a Friday evening for the Seafood Platter, which comes with a free bottle of wine for just $100 (for 2 people). Alternatively, you could order off the a la carte menu and take your own wine (corkage $2.50). As well as the a la carte menu, they also offer a set menu for lunch, which is just $35 for 2 courses.

I am so glad I discovered this in time for summer; the harbour breezes were a godsend yesterday when it was 34c!
