Who uses your Airbnb Concierge Service?

Some of our clients have investment properties which they rent out on a continuous basis, whereas others rent out their main home when they go on holiday. Some will only rent it out if they go on a big holiday, for a week or 2, whereas others rent it out even when they go away for the weekend. A few clients even plan their weekends away and holidays around their bookings, rather than the other way round.

What areas do you service?

This service is currently only available in Sydney. You can find a map of all the suburbs we have provided these services so far here. We can also help if your property is anywhere in between. Please contact us if you are not sure.

Why should I use you and not do it myself?

Most of the time, your guests will arrive and leave whilst you are at work or relaxing on holiday. Until, human cloning is possible, Sydney Concierge is the next best thing.

What does the Check-In Service include?
  • Meet and greet your guest(s) at your property
  • Help them with their luggage
  • Show them around the house and how things work including any tricky appliances
  • Remind them of the house rules
  • Give them tips on local hot spots
  • Let you know once they have checked in
What does the Check-Out Service include?
  • Check your property has been left in the state the guests found it in
  • Take photos of any potential issues and email them to you
  • Collect the keys from your guest(s) and any feedback they have
  • Locking up your property. Giving you peace of mind
  • Confirm to you once they have checked out
What does a Standard Clean include?
  • Vacuuming/mopping/sweeping all floors
  • Cleaning/dusting all accessible surfaces (including the kitchen and bathroom)
  • Cleaning the toilet, bath and shower
  • Cleaning/polishing mirrors
  • Tidying
  • Emptying the bins.
What does a Thorough Clean include?

What does the Bedding Hire include?

Rent your bedding from Sydney Concierge, and save hundreds on buying it. We will…

  • Provide freshly laundered: 4 pillow cases, a fitted sheet, a flat sheet and a doona (aka duvet) cover
  • Make the bed(s)
  • Collect the bedding at the end
  • We can provide bedding for singles, king singles, doubles, queens and king beds
  • If you would like to hire the actual quilt as well, it costs an additional $20
  • NB – this service is only available if we are doing your Check-In and Check-Out.
What does the Towel Hire include?

You can also hire towel sets from Sydney Concierge, to save you time washing and drying your own. Includes:

  • 1 Bath Mat
  • 2 Bath Towels
  • 1 Hand Towel
  • 1 Flannel
  • 2 Beach Towels
  • NB – this service is only available if we are doing your Check-In and Check-Out

What does your Concierge Service include?

We can answer any questions your guest have, either prior to or after arrival, about restaurants, tickets, tours, itineraries etc. Unless specified otherwise, your guest(s) will pay us directly for this service. Stating you offer this service in your listing will help you stand out from the crowd.

My guests have cancelled. What is your refund policy?

As per Sydney Concierge’s terms & conditions, I require a minimum of 24 hours notice for refunds.

How do I know I can trust you?

Rest assured, I have been police checked and Sydney Concierge is fully insured. Check out our testimonials.

Are there any extra costs?

The following surcharges apply for early/late check-outs:

  • $50 extra 7-9am and 7-9pm.
  • There is a 25% surcharge on Saturday and Sundays.
  • There is a 50% surcharge on Public Holidays.
  • Call-out fees if the guests lock themselves out – please contact us for a quote.
  • The Check-In price includes up to half an hour waiting time, after the guest is due. If they are later than this, there is a surcharge of $79 per hour (or pro rata), unless it could not be avoided (e.g. their flight is delayed). This cost can be passed onto your guest if you prefer.
  • There is a travel fee of $0.68km, as advised by the ATO.
Are your services tax deductible?

Yes, although you should always check the details with your accountant.

Can my guests contact you?

Yes, they can contact me with any questions they have, by text, email or phone call. Additional property visits will incur a fee.

Can you write my Airbnb profile/description?

Yes, we can help you with this. There are also some great tips here.

Do I need to remove all of my personal items?

Every client handles this differently. Some use a spare room or garage to lock all of their valuables in. Others simply use a cupboard or 2. From our experience, Airbnb guests are very trustworthy, but we wouldn’t recommend leaving out anything valuable or of sentimental value.

Do you only provide these services for Airbnb properties?

No. In addition to Airbnb, we can also assist with properties/rooms listed on other websites too, such as Stayz and HomeAway.
