I haven’t tried Burger Project yet, but Chur Burger surely must be in the Top 3 burgers in Sydney (Rockpool Bar & Grill is in there too, holding out judgement for number 3). Chur Burger is another example of a renowned Sydney chef closing a fine dining restaurant (Assiette in this case) to open a much more casual one. And very successfully too. Your only dilemma will be deciding which delicious burger to order, but don’t forget to add sweet potato fries on the side. They don’t take bookings, but we did not have to wait long for a table on a Saturday evening about 7pm. There is a pretty quick table turnover. Oh, and the best bit? Burgers are only $10 (sides an additional $5). They also have a Chur Burger in Brisbane now, and Chur Express is coming soon – watch this space!
