Kirribilli Club

Whilst this venue is not as posh as it might sound, the views make up for that! It was dark when I went for friends for dinner and my phone camera at the time was not much good, so you just need to check the views out for yourself. It is a little bit like an RSL inside and you will need to be a member if you live within 7km. Luckily I lived in Clovelly at the time, and my friends were visiting from Melbourne, so we signed in as guests. If you ignore the pokies (unless you are into that type of thing), this is a great pub! The Harbour Bridge views are Kirribilli Club’s icing, but the rest of the ‘cake’ tastes pretty good too. The service was very friendly, the food in their Watergill Restaurant was surprisingly good (especially Chicken Ballontine) and it is close to Milsons Point train station – if you walk the harbour route and don’t get lost round the back streets like we did. They have trivia on Wednesdays, $8 cocktails on Fridays and live music on Sundays.
