I have to admit that I don’t dine out in the burbs very often, but I would definitely do it a lot more, if they were all as good as this! We ate here for a family birthday and I was blown away by how good it was. That sound a little patronising, and I don’t mean it to be, but I guess I am used to good food costing a lot more in the city and surrounds. Here at the lovely Honeybee, 2/3 courses are only $39/49 on Tuesdays to Thursdays. Luckily, we went on a Wednesday evening, so I got to enjoy the $9 cocktails too, and believe me, they are just as good as the ones in the city which cost at least twice as much. Plus, it is BYO. You can’t ask for more than that really. Except, outstanding service of course, and they have that in spades. The owner is always willing to have a chat, no matter how busy they are. Next time, I would like to try the 6-course degustation with matching wines; a bargain in anyone’s book’s at just $75!
