Can you have too much of a good thing? Not at InterContinental Sydney it turns out! I dined there last Saturday with my partner and friends. We had the Lunch Buffet with unlimited sparkling wine (Bimbadgen), unlimited cocktail of the month (we had ABVs which were delicious and refreshing – cider, vodka & blackcurrant juice), as well as unlimited food of course. The rrp is $79 for adults, $40 for children and incredible value. Even the pickiest child would go home feeling full from here. Don’t forget this is one of Sydney’s top five star hotels! It’s gets even better though, as we have access to $10 discount*.
When you arrive, it is difficult to know where to start in terms of the food. They have it all covered: fresh oysters and prawns, home made bread, suishi, salads, locally sourced meat (the roast beef is amazing, especially with the Potato Dauphinoise) and a cheese board, but make sure you leave room for the desserts! This alone covers an entire wall.
The service is also great, and they will top up your champagne or replace your cocktail glass frequently if you like. Tea and coffee is also offered at the end of the meal, and costs an additional $4.
Cafe Opera also has a breakfast and dinner buffet, those these options do not include the unlimited sparkling wine and cocktails.
* Please contact us for more details, and bookings, if you would like the $10 discount.
Hi, Could you please let me knkw how to get the $10 discount at cafe opera?
Thanks,
Jocelyn
Hi Jocelyn,
Unfortunately, that promotion was posted in 2015 and is no longer valid. However, we do have access to lots of other restaurant deals, such as 2-4-1 Afternoon/High Tea at the Sofitel (valid until 31st January) and a progressive dinner at Intercontinental Sydney (117 Dining for entrée & main course and dessert from Supperclub InterContinental Lounge with breathtaking rooftop views – not valid in January). Please let me know if you would like more details.
